Captured: Southern Senior

What a great time I had getting to know this sweet new transplant to the area during a sunny summer session. This young woman (and her mom and sister) were delightful to work with, from wardrobe changes to her working it for the camera to us finally convincing mom to pop into a shot at the end. I wish her the best of luck in her senior year in a new place – may it be full of new friends and great memories as she heads into a bright future.

Captured: Family of Three (Soon to be Four)

A sunny Saturday greeted us as we gathered to capture this fun family. We bribed the little man with “chewies” and it paid off in these great smiles. It’s so fun to capture families over time, and after shoots near the first and second birthdays, I  look forward to watching this family grow and capturing their milestones along the way.

Captured: Hometown Girl

It was so much fun to spend time in my hometown capturing this beautiful senior. Knowing this young lady for quite some time, I can confidently say this girl is going places…but she’ll never forget where she got her start.

Captured: Summer Senior

For this shoot we were granted beautiful sunshine  in Washington which is a rare occurrence.  A while back I had the opportunity of capturing her big sister’s senior portraits and I really enjoy this family.  Starting off shy and ending with trying anything she really had fun and we had a chance to capture her unique personality.  Thank you for letting me capture this unique time in your life as you enter your senior year.  I had so much fun!

Captured: Now and Then

Sometimes all it takes to get the family together for a portrait session is the addition of a little one. When this First Grandchild on Both Sides was still holdable, I spent a chilly morning with the family getting photos of the Little Man in his multi-colored plaid pants. His grin brought Mom and Dad, Grandma & Grandpa and his special Auntie together in the thick of fall. Then just around his first birthday the family of three gathered together for more photos and he was movin’ and shakin’ all over the yard. I look forward to capturing this little one and his great family for years to come.
